Colorado April 27, 2011

We are back in Colorado. We visited Martha and Jimjim in Aspen then drove on home to Fort Collins. We both had jury duty and multiple dr appointments. Now we can just relax and visit friends.  I am making glass for a glass show on Santa Fe Drive in Denver in May.

Goblin Valley State Park, Utah April 12 2011

On our way back to Colorado we stopped at Goblin Valley on the way. Then we went to Green River Utah for the night and had dinner at Ray’s Bar and Grill and had their world famous hamburgers. the next day we drove to Montrose Colorado and visited Johns friend Kit and are now camped at Ridgeway Reservoir state  camp ground. Getting ready to go to Orvis Hot Springs. The snow is melted, some grass is growing, but there are no leaves. I feel like we have left spring behind.  I am seeing more birds. the desert does not have as much wild life.

Sulphur Creek, Capital Reef April 2011

We hiked up Sulphur creek. You have to walk in water for parts of it because the canyon is so narrow.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Castle rock, walls of Sulphur Creek and if you look really close you can see John in the third photo
