June 2011 Aspen, Fort Collins Co

 

After the river trip we went to Aspen for a few days.

Wild flowers, Suep serving chili at the Chili and Brew Fest. For volunteering we got into the concert for free. Susan Tedesky and Trucks, John, Scott, Martha and Leslie at the concert. And tulips in Aspen.

John had some south American jewelry from his kayak trips in the 90’s. I took them and some of my jewels and had a jewel/garage sale at Sylvia’s. the river rose and we kayaked. Mostly I took photos, it was real high.

Johns friend Jenny visited. They boated together in the early days. She went to Salida and competed in a kayak race. She won fastest  woman in the national 26 mile whitewater race.
