October 16-18, 2018 Springfield/Eugene, Oregon

75 degrees and sunny.

We are at AM Solar getting more solar panels. Our current set up is 4 100 watt panels-the pre shot on top. Alden installed wiring today. Inside the fuse box is above him, in front of him is where three drawers were. He is running wires from the fuse box to under the drawers and out the side. Probably lots more that I don't know about. We are getting 5 more panels for a total of 1,300 watts. Solar won't run the whole bus, but we won't have to run the generator as much. We visited with our good friends Leslie and Scott. We had dinner at the Public House. It used to be a church but now is a beer hall, distillery, and many restaurants with nice outdoor seating outside. In the top part of the photo is John in the front of the beer hall giving two thumbs up.

Leslie and Scott at the Public House. It is great to see them. The basket has taken on a mind of it's own and is getting huge.

The bus in the shop at AM Solar getting solar panels installed. The solar place is real close to Kingsford, the place that makes briquettes. Huge piles of sawdust and a huge hot looking furnace.

75 and sunny today. We kayaked on the Willamette River. Lovely fall colors  and blue skies and water.

Larry with fall colors in his new boat and Anne Marie in her new boat with Buster on the back.

Suzanne and John in a canoe. Back lit fall leaves.

Take out with great colors. It is Leslie's birthday. Great shot of the birthday queen.

Our view last night and this am, the garage door at AM Solar. The finished product, 5 new solar panels (along with the 4 we already had and all the new controllers and wiring. This should cut down on generator usage.

After the solar panels were done we drove to Oregon Motorcoach. We are getting some minor repairs and routine maintenance done.  The parking lot was packed, we are squeezed in the right corner. Usually there are less than 10 coaches here at a time. When we arrived there was a coach next to us too.  I counted 17 coaches outside and they filled all the bays two deep with coaches inside. Hopefully they hired more people or we will be here for a long time. I am done adding needles to the new masterpiece. I am going to take the yellow beads off, replace them with some thing that does not detract from the glass center  and do some more decorative stitching.

Sunset at Oregon Motorcoach. We met our friend Tom at the Beer Stein for an after dinner drink. Fun to see him.
