We are still parked at Lake Mead. It is beautiful here, and cheap. We did some bike riding, I finished my latest basket- a sewing basket for me. John started work on the taxes and did not have all his paperwork. He flew back to Colorado for a few days to find it and take care of a few things. I am now doing things he did not want to do that I did. Last night I went for a dinner cruise on a paddle boat called the Desert Princess on Lake Mead. Tonight I went back to the strip and saw the Cirque Du Soleil show ‘Ka’. It was awesome.
Photos clockwise from the left top: coyotes we saw biking, the marina near the campground, John and the last three are the full moon over the lake.
clockwise from the left again: evening light, sail boats on the lake, John riding into the first tunnel of five on the railroad trail. It took equipment to Hoover dam when they were building it, John in another tunnel and the Lake from above.
A picture of the basket almost done, I will have to get one of it done, the lake on a really calm day when the water was glass, John holding the sun, and some cool clouds
The top two are of cell towers disguised as palm tree, see if you can guess which one it is in the second picture. Then the Desert Princess dinner cruise , Hoover dam at night from the boat-with part of the boat in it and me on the deck.
I don’t have photos from Ka, they won’t let you bring in a camera, but it was so incredible photos would not do it justice.
