We hung out at Lake Havasu (Have-A-sue) enjoying the water, sun and watching the spring breakers. Had lunch at a beach bar and watched an RC car track. Today we drove to Quartzite, Az. we have been coming here all winter. Got sidetracked a lot. In January Quartzite has 100,000 plus RVs, a huge market, numerous rallies and a big rock and gem show. It is surrounded by BLM land and camping is next to nothing or free. Not sure we would like the crowds. They are mostly gone and there are miles and miles of beautiful desert to camp in, and hardly anyone here. Little warm, in the 80’s. But nice in and am and evening and we can siesta in the shade during the heat of the day.
Sue during the heat of the day, John BBQing dinner and the sunset on Lake Havasu
Spring break on the channel at Lake Havasu, the hobie cat regatta, a roadrunner who came to camp begging for food, view from camp, and some spring desert flowers.
hummingbird at a Texas Mountain Laurel flower, John at Turtle Beach Bar for lunch, John enjoying the view and the sunset on the lake
the bus in Quartzite, the view, many views of sunset in our back yard and a photo of our nearest neighbor. The ground is covered with gravel, makes driving almost anywhere easy.
