May 26, 2012 Ocoee river Tenn.

John boated the upper Ocoee today. I drove shuttle, and went mountain biking.  They had the Olympics on part of it in 1996. I sat down there and watch the boaters go by on the class IV rapids.

John found a young kayak god to boat the upper Ocoee with. His wife is too much of a wimp-oops, I mean she ran the shuttle. . .

I went biking up the edge of the river. Here is one of the rapids from the bike trail. And a rhododendron.

Ducktown- a quacking good place! And then back to North Carolina. Tomorrow we are going back and we are going to run the lower Ocoee- only wimpy class II and III rapids.
