November 3, 2016 Sweet Creek, Oregon

Sweet Creek is just east of Florence by Mapleton. It is in temperate rain forest. Lots of moss and ferns. Very lush.

Most of the 1.1 miles each way is by Sweet Creek which is mostly one giant rapid and waterfalls. They say it has 11 waterfalls, but it is all pretty turbulant.

Colorful foligae and moss covered branches on the trail back. Sunset from out campsite. There was some fog and it made the air pink at sunset.
