Valentines day hors d’oreuves of brownie pops and red wine in the sunset. We watched the full moon rise.
Full moon rising over dinner. John says since it was a full moon it was a werewolf valentines day, so we howled at the moon after dinner.
MMM, brownie pops. Not many real stores out here in the desert, it was the best I could find. It was pretty hot-87 degrees, so it was a good time to hang out in the lawn chair and make earrings and
Work on a basket for Basil. Sunset was lovely.
Oooh, hubcap camel in front of Gem world- a very wicked bead store. And tonight another cool sunset.
Our last night in Quartzsite we went to the QIA (Quartzsite Improvement Assoc) to see Red and Bernie- a comedy and musical act. I saw them twice when we were in Gillette this summer at the FMCA RV rally. This dance at your own risk was on the wall there, they have dance classes during the day, along with exercise classes and music jams and some dances at night. Must be pretty wild dancing.
A desert chicory bloom. It is too amazing that it hasn’t rained since November, but plants are still growing and blooming. Not many bugs either, but this cricket showed up on one of the chairs the other morning.
