We toured the Kazoobie Kazoo factory this afternoon. First we had a movie about the history and making of kazoos. Then Sarah demonstrated the different kinds, here she is playing the electric kazoo. Their motto is We Keep the World humming. If you build it they will hum and there was also a kazoo museum.
In the museum a kazoon injection mold for the making of the plastic parts, a replica of the first type of metal kazoo and John making a kazoo on the tour. A metal submarine kazoo that not only plays but also floats, a metal kazoophone with a metal horn on top that amplifies the sound 3 times and Big Dave's fish caller.
A Wazoo kazoophone made by Kazoobe, pipe kazoos, an electric and tractor kazoo, and a I heart kazoos t-shirt. We then left South Carolina into Georgia. Keep America Humming with an eagle with a kazoo body, me modeling the Keep America Humming ball cap with a kazoo velcroed on the front and an armadillo tail. When I got close enough to take a photo he had run into this hole.
The bus parked at the Fort McAllister State Park. It was in the 70's. Blissful. A fishing boat on the dock at the park on Redbird Creek in the park at sunset. They must have a lot of birds here, the dock was covered in bird poop.
The dock on Redbird creek at sunset in the state park. The campground we are in is on Savage Island With palmettos, live oaks with spanish moss and spanish bayonet.
We walked on the Magnolia nature trail near the campground. It was also a workout trail. Had signs that had us hopping like frogs, doing jumping jacks like bats, hopping on one foot like thrashers. Pretty comical. We saw white tailed deer, a pileated woodpecker that looked Woody the woodpecker, armadillos and multiple squirrels today. John on the trail with palmettos, oaks with spanish moss and palm trees.
