March 10, 2019 Anza Borrego Desert State Park, California

Mid 60's and partly cloudy.

We viewed primroses right by the highway with 100's of our best friends. In the first photo you can see some of the people on the top and bottom part you can see all the cars lined up .

Desert gold, sand verbena and evening primrose. Painted lady on a sand verbena, desert gold and a black horn worm munching on flowers.

Mohave aster, black eyed susan, yellow flower and white flower. Desert tobacco, lilies, indigo bush, evening primrose and brittle bush.

We hiked up Calcite Slot canyon. John entering some narrows. Cool rock shapes and a tree hanging on to the canyon wall.

John making an S  turn and walking in the narrows.

John  many turns down the canyon and in a wider area.

John took this of me in fluted narrows.Rock studded walls.

John took this of me in rock studded narrows. More interesting rock shapes.

Me under an arch. Late light on the lower canyon.

We stopped at some roadside flowers as the sunset. The colors were even better. Pink verbena, yellow desert gold and white evening primrose.
