March 23-24, 2020 Shoshone, California

Mid 60's and sunny. I went with Susan to photograph Eagle and Shadow Mountains. They are just north of town.

Eagle Mountain and the Amargosa river from the south side. The north side Eagle Mountain over a marsh from the rain last night.

Susan with the west side of Shadow mountain in the background. Eagle mountain on the north side with a band of salt that edges the marsh.

The hills are greening up. East side of Shadow Mountain.

Unknown mountain with nice shadows.

Sunset tonight over Shoshone in the foreground. Today I went biking up Dublin Gulch road. I am in such bad shape it was a walk, bike, walk, bike . . . In my defense it is uphill, sandy and the wind was blowing. I did get farther than last time. Got all the time in the world to keep trying. It was a beautiful sunny, high 60's day.

Sunset behind a historic hay rake. Sunset behind a cactus sculpture in the Shoshone, CA city park.
Naked sunset tonight.
