August 25-Sept 2 2020 Fort Collins, Colorado

I made these pyramids quite a while ago, but didn't have good polishing equipment, now I have good equipment and am polishing them. This is the first two of about a dozen. It rained a bit and the air looked almost normal this afternoon.

Fish jumping in the sunset. Sunset on McMurray pond tonight.

There is a child on a rope swing in this photo over the river.  It is a popular spot in the summer. Sunset  behind dead sunflowers.

Panorama of sunset. The railroad bridge over the bike path.

Sunset last night. The two latest pyramids. They are dichroic glass but the photo does not show how much they sparkle.

Our friends John and Mandy came over for dinner. We started in the backyard but it started to rain so we moved into the garage. John smoked steaks and baked sweet potatoes. Mandy brought a salad and I made peach cobbler. Wonderful meal. Good to see them.  After the rain there was this rainbow.

We had a good rain for the first time in at least a month. It was lovely. Sunset over the puddles in the alley.

Choosing a jewel! I can't make anymore, I have way too many. Met my friends Katy and Katie to paddle on McIntosh lake in Longmont. There are no motor boats allowed, so it is great for paddling.
Katy and Katie on McIntosh lake. Hot day, the water felt good.
