January 13-14, 2021, Painted Rocks Petroglyph campground, Gila Bend, Arizona

 68 and sunny.

More progress on the masterpiece. It is now 6 x 2 1/2 inches. Few more rows  then I think I will call it done. We hiked down the arroyo by our campsite this afternoon.

John styling in his javelina  pelvis mask! Trees and grass along the creek bed.

I think park of a javelina skeleton, javelina track,  Historic graffiti with the petroglyphs, a scorpion and a ladder. Amazing petroglyphs.

Interesting pattern of shadows and glyphs. I went back to the petroglyphs to look closer. There are so many that it was hard to focus in on individual ones yesterday. I discovered that the Lizard people have been here. Each rock or panel had at least three lizards in it.

The top left is a duplicate, more panels with lizards. I found this manmade and nature made art in the campground.

Another wonderful sunset. Sunset through on of the decorative panels in the fence by the petroglyphs.

Another  nice night to have dinner at our picnic table. I finished this beauty. The center is a paw piece of glass I fused . It is made from natural and dyed pine needles, glass beads and polyester thread. It is 6 x 3 1/2 inches.

I was sitting in my lawn chair and thought I saw an owl, I got a bit closer and thought it was a rabbit. Nope a stealth mesquite log! Sunset swoosh.
Crescent moon setting in the sunset.
