October 5- 8, 2021 Fort Collins, Colorado

80's and sunny. We drove up the river to see golden aspen.

Aspen on the road. All the trees around Chambers lake were burned up in the Camron pass fire 2 years ago.

We saw this wreck by the road.  Written in sharpie on the back it says "Nobody found 9/3/21".  Guess they didn't want to come back for the car. Aspen grove.

Golden aspens against blue sky.

Vista of aspen trees. John photographing more aspens.

Colorful aspens. Chambers lake looking up lake. The only live tree is the one to the right, all the rest were burned up in the Camron pass fire two years ago. The fire started in this area.

On way back we stopped at Mishawaka  for snacks and a drink.  Sunset from the deck tonight.

A few pendants I beveled and polished. Sunset last night

Woo Hoo, they are saying the car will be ready Friday. John brought the bus around so he can sterilize the water system and what ever else he does to it. We can pack up. Well the car was not ready on Fri, now maybe Monday. A few more pendants I beveled and polished.

Of course since we are going to be here for a few more days I made another batch of puddles. This one has pieces from a failed masterpiece in it, with red, yellow and orange. They came out cool.
