October 9-11, 2021 Fort Collins, Colorado

75 degrees and sunny. We still in Colorado. The car should be done on Monday. The bus needs the heater exhaust pipe straightened and a new muffler. Hopefully the bus can be fixed on Monday too.

John gave me these lovely fall flowers. What a guy. I made a seat cover for my bike seat. It is totally trashed from being in the sun all day everyday on the back of the car behind the bus.

Colorful cottonwoods along the Poudre river bike path.

More lovely colors on the bike path.

Nice reflections at the diversion dam. These pumpkin people are part of a photo shoot along the river path. Many professional photographers take portraits along here in the late afternoon light.

My shadow at McMurry Ponds. Cows across water along the path.

Red leaves, not poison ivy. I watch for it since I don't want to get it. Venus and the waning crescent moon at sunset.

John and Mandy came over for dinner to Bon voyage us. John M smoked a nice pork roast and  Mandy brought a salad fresh from their garden. It was nice to see them and dinner was delicious. John discovered that the exhaust pipe from the heater on the bus was bent and that the muffler on it was damaged. We could not use the heater with that damage. With many phone calls and lots of driving he got it fixed on Monday. The car was also done on Monday. We were ready to roll, except to finish packing.
