October 11, 2023 Okanagon, Washington

 62 and partly cloudy.

John and I at Smallwood Farms- a Harvest Host site we are camped at for tonight. We got fuel on the reservation, it was only $5.15 a gallon. strawberries, a huge selection of apples, pumpkins and squash. These pumpkins are HUGE. We are camped at Smallwood farms tonight.

We had a yummy lunch at Smallwood Farm store. John had a smoked brisket sandwich and I had a smoked chicken salad wrap.  The bus at Smallwood Farm. We are beside the pumpkin, cantaloupe and strawberry patches. They were taking out the cantaloupe patch, so the whole afternoon smelled like sweet cantaloupe.

Strawberries. I finished these two baskets. They are made from natural and dyed pine needles. I collected the light colored needles at Chelan Lake where we were camped. Glass beads and I fused the dichroic glass centers.

Our view from the bus. And sunset.

In the morning there was mist rising from the river.
