March 14-19, 2024 Shoshone to Death Valley, California

In the low 70's with clouds and rain. Mostly stayed indoors.

Not much sunset. Just these dabs of color.

And some overhead sunset. The sliver moon.

Next day, also a spotty sunset.

Len gave an excellent bird talk at the museum. I made these 4 pendants. They are dichroic glass I made  wrapped with sterling silver.

Sunset tonight.

76 and sunny today. Jill came in today and we had a great dinner of John's smoked ribs and cornbread. Yum yum. Sunset with vultures circling deciding where to roost tonight.

Closer up of vultures in sunset. Space X rocket launch tonight.

85 and sunny. Greenery on hillside entering Death Valley. A field of desert gold along the way.

We met our friends Allison and Joe for a visit in Death Valley. Allison, Joe, Phil and Matty  came over for happy hour. Great seeing them.

Last light above the campground. John served us a fantastic dinner of smoked ribs and corn bread muffins. Joe and Allison's rig parked beside us.

Sunset.
