November 18-19, 2025 Shoshone, California

High of 56 and heavy rain. We have gotten 1 1/2 inches in the last two storms. That is a lot for here. There is some flooding.

Rain in the pass. Water by the gas station and general store.

Flood downtown Shoshone. Water droplets in palo verde leaves, two shaggy main mushrooms and some red seed heads on a shrubbery.

Wild looking cloud. The water is not even close to going over the road. Maybe when the water comes down from up north.

The other side of the road. It does flood on this road. The sun coming out in the RV park.

Rainbow over the RV park. Sunset on the sliver of the Nopah range that we can see from here.

Sunset in the RV park.

More sunset and cool looking clouds.

The phone is always taking photos of me when I am trying to shoot pictures . . . I received this pine needle Xmas ornament for my partner in the ornament exchange. It has broach in the middle. Really cute.

I finished this basket today. It is made from dyed and natural pine needles, polyester thread, glass beads, a metallic raven and the center is a piece of slate that I sandblasted and painted the raven on. Sunset tonight reflected in rain puddles.
