On the way to Madison we went on the ‘Trollway’ thru Mt. Horub. They had Trolls lining the streets. It all started with one store putting a couple trolls in front of their store, then a couple others followed suit. I guess truckers driving thru would call other truckers and say things like-‘Hey, I just passed your mother inlaw’! Naming it the Trollway was a way to put themselves on the map so tourists would drive thru and see their town and spend money. got us thru there, plus we had to see the Grumpy Troll brewery.

The next stop was Middleton, Wi, at the National Mustard Museum. Couldn’t pass that one up either. John was reluctant, but I talked him into it.
We visited with Joan and Bill, friends of John’s from Fort Collins. We had a nice dinner prepared by Joan and then a quick tour of downtown Madison.
