We left Michigan for Wisconsin. We went to Minocqua to visit John’s cousin who was spending the weekend at their cottage on a lake here. On the way we stopped at the Cranberry festival in Eagle river , WI. We saw cranberry wine, cranberry jelly beans, cranberry salsa, cranberry maple syrup. The worlds largest cranberry cheesecake had already been cut up and was for sale for charity. Our next stop was the snowmobile hall of frame in St Germaine, WI. We saw the first snowmobile ever built in 1924. The first snowmobile sold in the US, in 1960. Many of the champion snowmobiles from years ago. Old snowmobile outfits. We arrived at Mike and Kathy’s home. Beautiful home on a lake surrounded by fall foliage.
