Jan 19-20 2011 Death Valley

It was a very windy day in Death Valley, that means dust storm. We went up to Dante’s view for a view of the valley. Then back down to photograph the dust storm

Dust over Furnace Creek Ranch, two road runner shots. They come up and beg for food. They are really cute, but they are  pretty dangerous. Sharp claws and beaks and they are pretty big.
Our last day in Death Valley we took a tour of Furnace Creek Inn. I have stayed there many times, but never took the historical tour.
