Jan 6 2011, Death Valley

We drove the bus down to Furnace Creek and parked it in the Texas Creek campground. It was basically a parking lot with no hookups. But there was hardly anyone there and it was warm, and cheap. Lovely views.

We hiked Desolation canyon.  It is a narrow canyon with very colorful rocks. One of my favorite in the park.
