St Andrew’s Beach is at the mouth of the Grand Lagoon by Panama City Bay.
The beach from the fishing pier. We met our friend Bev Gray from Colorado here. She has been living in her motor home all winter in southern Florida and is on her way back to Colorado. She will be here with us until Friday. It is good to see her. John and Bev walking on the beach.
Surfers and stand up paddlers in the nice big waves. Evan, Bev’s cute dog, Bev and John walking in the live oaks and palmettos.
Wild Rosemary flowers, lichen, a great blue heron grabbing a shrimp a fisherman tossed at her, the whole heron, lichen, willet running and willet flying.
Sunset on the beach. The water was this beautiful metallic color during sunset.
High rise condos outside the park in Panama City. Rosy clouds and surf.
John and Bev at dinner. We had reheated heart shaped meat loaf, whipped cauliflower, brown rice, white asparagus and a salad Bev brought over. The next day it was cloudy, but warm, high 60’s. Bev and I rode bikes all over the park. Past this gator lake.
There were kite surfers were out. People were feeding these gulls. They just kind of hung in the air.
Wind surfer. The beach was lovely, the water was aquamarine. That is why they call this the Emerald Coast. It was too cloudy for a big sunset, but caught this over Gator Lake.
