The good news is that Cummins called and said that the temperature sensor on the engine was bad. So maybe the bus does not need a new radiator! Maybe we will get out of here soon. Maybe.
My brother Jerry drove up and had dinner with us. John, Sue and Jerry at Lulu’s Chinese restaurant. I decided the flower piece needed something, so I added some forget me not’s. It still needs to be painted and slumped, but it is getting there.
It was sunny all morning. I rode my bike up to McMurray ponds and saw all these. Pink flowers, salsify, pink flowering bush, spurge, a toad, either chock cherries or wild plums- depending if this is a bush or not full grown tree, blue chicory, and a bunny with grass.
The river is so high that the McMurray ponds are now part of the river. This afternoon John joined friends kayaking. I went along to run the shuttle. John Gross, John Moran and Mandy at the put in.
John in his boat. Mandy running some white water.
John in white water. A cool tree and root on the river bank .
John with helmet hair. More cool roots and trees by the river.
John Gross and Gary went back up for a second run. John Gross surfing a wave, then Gary joined him on the same wave.
Then Gary did tricks. Look Ma, no paddle, look ma- one handed no paddle!
End of the wave ride. Flowers I saw on the river. Willow catkin, lilies, wild onion, lupine and a wall flower.
daisies, pucoon, dandelion seed head, blue pentstamen, false Solomon’s seal, evening primrose, and pucoons.
