March 28-31, 2018 Seminole Lake,Georgia

We drove farther south, back into Georgia and found 81 degrees and sunny.

Beautiful historic Eufaula, Alabama is know for it's antebellum houses. And today, blooming azaleas. Welcome to Georgia. We are back in Pecan (pronounced pee-can down here), also peanut and cotton. Georgia/Alabama State line is at the Chattahoochee river. Look Jimmy Buffet opened an oriental restaurant in Donelson, Georgia. Eufaula is the Big Bass Capital of the world. Warwick is the home of the Grits Festival. We drove though Warwick on the way up, but finally found a photo of the sign.

I have seen lots of trucks fitted out as fishing vehicles, but these are the first personal water craft  fishing vessels I have seen. The bus at Seminole Lake State Park, Georgia. Just to the left of the bus, behind the bushes is the lake.

This is the tree houses you can rent to camp in. It is an elevated screen house. Sleeps 15.  We found trees with green leaves on them again, a view from out campsite.

Sunset from out campsite. Today was partly cloudy and 81. Very nice. I took my boat out onto the lake. Here is camp from the lake. The campers are behind the cattails.

The lily pads were very pretty. I woke up to this green tree frog on the bedroom window. The first is a picture of him outside on the window reflected in the mirror finish the second is what he looked like inside.

We went to scenic, downtown Donalsonville, Georgia to go to Piggly Wiggly for some groceries. Scenic downtown and the court house.

We we got back we hiked around on the trails in the park. John in the pines. In Donalsonville we went to Mr Ed's liquer store also, purple verbena by the roadside, the Georgia state reptile is the gopher tortoise. Yellow coreopsis.
White flowers, yellow flower, sunflower and fragrant water lily.

We changed campsites today because the power pedestal was not functioning properly at the old site. We we are right on the lake. John hiking in the sunshine and trees today. It was 78, sunny and a bit windy.

This boardwalk is part of the trail. I love the shadows.

Lily pads from the boardwalk. After dinner I decided to go on a dusk paddle on the lake. My favorite time a day to paddle. The water is calm and the colors are fantastic.

The campground from the lake at dusk. And sunset.

Two photos of blue eyed grass and ferns. I finished the basket today. It has a limpet shell center and glass beads. It is 10 wide and 2 inches tall. It did not come out as I envisioned. What else is new? I think it is kind of funky.
Full blue moon rise over the lake. I took this with my phone, it does not have a very good camera.
