May 2 - 3, 2021 Bishop, California to June Lake, California

High of 76, sunny and windy. A nice break from the heat.

We went to Keough hot springs today. It is just south of Bishop. John in the hot pool. The large Plunge at Keough hot springs. The hot springs resort was founded in 1919. It is an older one, but very nice.

John by the stream by in the front of the RV park in Bishop. Sunset tonight.

June Lake as we drove into town. The town is between June and Gull Lake. Entrance to June Lake, California.

Beautiful downtown June Lake, California. Sign on the way into town, brewery 176 yards, Slow Duck Crossing and Warning, bigfoot, please to not feed the Sasquatch.

Gull Lake from the marina. The mountain going down to the lake on the left is June Lake Ski area. Gull Lake Marina, home of Monster Trout. Did you tip your boat boy today?

Flowers blooming in town. John is really in heaven. 4 breweries in 5 days. He is making up for all the breweries we passed due to covid this year. June Lake Brewing is less than a block from the RV park. The beer is very good. They are serving beer outside. The indoor restaurant/brewery is only open on weekends.

The bus at June Lake RV park. We are one block from Gull lake and 4 blocks from June Lake. One block from the brewery. They just opened back up 5 days ago. We are between winter and summer season. I suspect town is packed either in winter or summer. Pretty quiet now.
