May 23-24, 2021 Eugene to Waldport, Oregon

 64 and mostly cloudy.

I ran 4 loads at the  Riviera Coin Laundromat this afternoon. John came along for moral support. The beginning of sunset.

Moon tree. Sunset.

Weird tree in the parking lot. It almost looks like a camera watching us.  Eye of Sauron in the sky.

We headed to the Oregon Coast through the rain and fog. Our first stop was at the Oregon Coast Aquarium. We saw puffins and a pacific spiny lumpsucker.

A puffin wearing a mask, have you cleaned your tentacles and keep the distance of a 6 foot shark. A school of anchovies.

Leslie and I tried on  cool hats in the gift shop.  We made it out of there without buying any. We went next to the Rogue brewery in Newport. A safe distance of 6 feet is 24 cans of beer or 4.5 kegs.

Sue, Scott, John and Leslie tasting beers and eating French fries.

The ocean with the fog and rain. We rented this cute little beach cottage. Very comfy, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths.

The view from the cottage is the bridge over the Alsea River. We walked the dog along the river here. John cooking a gourmet dinner with Scott providing moral support while Leslie lounges in the living room.

The sun peeked thought the rain and there was a rainbow over the bridge and sunset.
