Sunset. We are now parked at Lake Wister State Park in Oklahoma, outside of Wister, Oklahoma. Nice spot on a peninsula on the lake.

Fall colors on the drive up Cavanal Hill. Cavanal Hill is the worlds highest hill. There is a steep 5 mile road to the top which is used for 5 miles runs, mountain bike races and the famous Cavanal Hill Killer 5 mile walk.
Welcome to downtown Poteau, Oklahoma. There are two breweries in Poteau. The Rough Day is closed until Thursday so we went to Shop Dog Brewing to taste their brews.

Red bellied woodpecker. I also saw blue birds and a cardinal, but didn't get photos of them. I am almost done with this basket. The center is a bowl that I fused that had holes in it-they were a mistake. The coils go through the holes. It is 12 x 4 inches. I have been working on it a month. It needs cleaning up and some beads but I cannot work on it now. Will finish it later. Time to start something new.
