Crater Lake 091510

I still am not sure how to get these photos were I want them. This is John bunyon single handedly widening the trail for me. What a man.

Here is a Monkey flower on the Castle Crest trail and a sunset over the pumice desert.  

                                                                                                                                                              We toured the rim of Crater Lake today. Yesterday we rode the boat on the lake. Thought we had seen it all from the lake, but it was still cool from the rim. We also had lunch in the Crater Lake Lodge. Built in the early 1900 and remodeled recently.

Below are newberry knot weeds on a pumice slope, John on the veranda of the Crater Lake Lodge, John in the dining room, I told him to smile and this is what I got., the colors of the lake, looking down from the rim., a panorama from the opposite side of the lake, John taking a photo of Phantom Ship island from the rim. Yesterday we rode by it in a boat, it is pretty big, butyou can't tell from the top., the pinnacles in Godfry glen, two more shots of the Phantom ship, the pumice castle, the last one is another shot of some more pinnacles.
