Sept 9-13 Waldo Lake, Oregon

We drove to Waldo Lake on Thursday. It was raining and freezing when we arrived. After spending all that time on the beach and loosing my tan, I was not sure I wanted to freeze in the mountains. Fri it warmed up, warmer each day. Leslie, Scott, Jen and Gabe joined us.  We borrowed boats from Leslie and Scott. We used sea kayaks and a canoe and boated all day each day. Waldo Lake is incredibly beautiful. It is one of the purest lakes in the world, so it is this indigo blue. I loved the sea kayak and lake boating. We had a ball.

The photos from the top left are: The sun shining thru the steaming ground in the am, Mossy trees, they look parted down the middle to me, Scott on an early am ride, John and Leslie in the canoe, Gabe and Jen kayaking, Suep kayaking, Scott and John in the canoe and Leslie in the kayak,  an island on the lake, morning fog on the lake, the John and Suep cheesy salt and pepper shakers, Jen on the lake early in the morning when it was still, John and Leslie in the canoe.
