April 25-26, 2021 Shoshone, California

77 degrees, cloudy and very windy. It got downright cold this evening. It is going to get own to 49 overnight! It is a welcome change after the heat.

I am working on this basket and am not bonded with it at all. Everything I do to it makes it look worse. I hope I can save it in the end.  The center is a beveled, polished  piece of dichroic glass I made. The needles are two different colors of green, but they look the same in the basket.  There was a sliver of light under the cool wind worked clouds.

The moon looked full tonight when it poked through. Sunset was this one small spot.

Still not liking this basket, but the shape is nice. The road to Tecopa, California.

We had dinner at Toni and Rogers house, Casi Ceilo- Almost Heaven. I love their house, love the wrap around porches. The jasmine was blooming.

Judy D and Kelly in the kitchen. Love the kitchen. Toni cooking a delicious dinner of shrimp and scallops pasta for us.

It is harvest time for their garden. Seems so early to me, coming from Colorado where the average last frost is Mother's day in May. The full pink super moon rising at Casi Cielo.
