Last but not least is me at the wax museum with Captain Jack Sparrow

We had lunch at a brew pub and had dinner at a restaurant that John found on the internet, called Sweetie Pie, it was a black restaurant in a very black neighborhood. It was very colorful and interesting, but the food was so so. We also looked for the Bowling Hall of fame, but John’s GPS chip was old and the museum has moved to Texas. Boo.

Oct 28 2011 Missouri

Looks like maybe the radiator will be done on Tues. We did a little sight seeing today in the area. We went to Daniel Boone’s first grave. I guess part of  his bones were stolen and buried in Kentucky. then we went to Washington, MO to the Corn Cob pipe museum. Pretty interesting. This company has been making Missouri Meerschaum corn cob pipes since the 1800. Then to Chesterfield, Mo so I could ride the carousel in Farel park. We also saw the Awakening giant and the Kemp Car museum.

The bus at Cuivre River state park. The park was beautiful with fall foliage. We spent the night there and in the morning John discovered that the radiator was a couple gallons low, so he filled it with water and we drove into town to the shop. Of course it needs work. We are now parked behind the shop with no radiator and it will go to the radiator place and we will be here till it is back and installed.
