June 3-6, 2025 Mountain Home, Idaho to Snowville, Utah to Fort Bridger, Wyoming

Eastern Oregon. We drove for 5 hours today, way too long to sit in the bus. Welcome to Idaho. The fuel is much cheaper. 

Cool cliffs along the way. I finished this while we were driving. It is made from natural and dyed pine needles, polyester thread, glass beads, adorable ceramic cats and the center is a piece of dichroic glass I cast int he shape of a paw. 9 x 9 x2 inches. 

We are now parked at Mountain Home RV park, in Mountain Home, Idaho. Sunset.

Southern Idaho. Another 4 hour days of driving. Fueled up in Idaho at much $3.40. Welcome to Utah. The RV park is protected by a highly trained bat, not responsible for injury or possible death. 

We are now at Hitching Post RV park in Snowville, Utah, parked next to a tractor.  Hitching post RV park.

I finished this today while driving. It is made from dyed pine needles, polyester thread, glass seed beads, bone turtles and the center is a stone turtle. It is 9 1/2 x 9 1/2 x 2 inches.  We are camped at Fort Bridger RV camp in Fort Bridger, Wyoming. 

It is our 19th anniversary. We would have gone out to dinner, but there are really no restaurants here, so we had a drink at the Golden Buckle Bar. Very Wyoming. A statue of Jim Bridger. There is an old  Fort here, Fort Bridger museum here, it and the town are named after him.

May 30 - June 1, 2025 Bend to Burns , Oregon

 91 and sunny.

We had dinner with Diane and Rob't at the Van Henion brewery for a brew and dinner. Sunset

I finished this basket while we were at Oregon Motor Coach and sold it right away. I forgot to take a photo, so this is one the new owner sent me. It is made from dyed pine needles, polyester thread and glass beads the center and side pieces are from a necklace I bought at the thrift shop. Only 80 degrees today and sunny. We hiked along the Deschutes River with Diane and Rob't. This is Benham falls.

We had dinner and tasted brews at the Yacht Club. Years ago to get all of us in a selfie we had to lay our heads on the table, so periodically we still take photos of that. Our dinner came from the Tot food truck, their tots are the size of golf balls.

Lily of the valley, Antelope bitterbush, wild cherries and an osprey and nest. Aurora seen from the campground last night. 

Crescent moon. We had Diana and Rob't over for dinner. Here is happy hour. High of 69 and sunny. It has been great seeing them. 

John cooked a scrumptious dinner. John found fuel for $3.73, at least 50 cents less than around town. Glad we got it there, Riley store has it at $4.65
