Nice warm day. I worked on the basket in the lawn chair in the sun again. John rode his bike 12 miles. I rode mine down the the beach for sunset-3 mile round-trip. I am getting better finally. . John met me there and we walked a couple miles. I picked up a bunch more shell pieces for future baskets. Then John rode back with me.

Basket coming along. The shells were a pain to get attached and woven around, but they came out nice.
Today John rode his bike 20 miles today. I am much healthier, but still worked on the basket in the lawn chair-tough days and then rode to the shore myself and watched sunset and walked. I can’t get enough of the ocean. I also extracted a crab skeleton from the bushes in camp, I think I might use it on a lid for another basket. I put in the a zip lock bag with the shells. Later I picked up the bag and it also had a tiny frog in it. I put the bag open outside so he can exit the bag.
A moon jelly with shells on the beach, a bunch of little Sanderlings. I could watch them for hours running everywhere, in and out with the waves.
If I squint the white sand looks like corduroy snow! The sand here is quartz washed down from the Appalachian mountains .
The sanderlings found something good to eat here-tons of little foot prints. Usually they are running and their foot prints are just a divot, you can’t see the toes. Here they stood around. Another jelly on the beach. This one was pretty well still formed and fresh.
few more nice waves shots
low point of Mississippi, beach primroses
