We headed to Alabama. John wanted to just bypass Alabama and go straight to Florida. But I had heard that Orange Beach Alabama was the place to spend winter and that Dauphine Island is really pretty. So here we are at Gulf Shore State park, right next to Orange Beach. Beautiful. 72 degrees, sunny and white sand and turquoise water.

There was fog this am, and still some fog on the bridge in Mobile bay. A pelican at Gulf Shores state park on the pier.
