November 3, 2013 Cape Perpetua State Park, Oregon

Still rainy off and on, foggy. We hiked in the temperate rain forest, old growth forest.

John in his cagoule in the rain. These tree ears were huge and they looked like chocolate! Ferns growing on the trees and mushroom encrusted logs.

It was raining, but we were under a tree canopy, so it dripped off the trees in bigger drops. Moss, mushrooms, lichen and red coral.

We stopped at the Cooks Chasm on the way back. The bridge was built in 1931. Looking straight down into the churning foamy waves, they looked like cream.

The Log church, now museum in Yachats, Ore. John said the floor was dirty, so I gave him the vacuum. He did a good job on the floors.
