May 10-13, 2020 Shoshone, California

It was only 100 degrees today.

We had the first annual Primrose Art Show this evening, along with a big spread of food. Susan, Liz, Michael, Torren, Marina and Ruud. Pictured are the winners. Ruud-winner of 1st place in the 6 and older category and the best jellyfish and Torren- 1st place winner in the 5 and under category and the best pickle. They have been painting with Judy all week.

Jarred brought over some of the paintings he has been doing to show off also. Big Robbie who is holding Ruud and Little Robbie with Torren on the bike brought over a small Honda motorbike for the boys to use.

Little Robbie teaching the boys how to drive the bike.

Robbie and Susan. Judy showing off the newest model of the Solar Sombrero. Besides being able to charge her phone when she backpacks it also has lights in the front and back.

We moved to a shady spot today. What a difference! Window's open, fans on it was the same temp as the AC got the inside when we were in full sun (88).  I finished this small basket. 7 x 8 x 2 inches. It is made with natural and dyed pine needles. The center is a piece of glass my friend Laurie made. The beads are purchased glass beads.  Very colorful.

Evening light tonight. Sunset was linear tonight.
John inside cooking dinner. We ate outside on the picnic table.

Welcome to the Ranch! I visited my friend Karin and she has this lovely sitting area behind her house.

Sunset last night. Cool rock, quail, yerba mansa plant and bloom.

Sunset tonight. The newest masterpiece in progress. The top photo it is on a bluish rock, that makes it look even weirder. The center is a piece of glass I cast. It is made with birch bark and the black seeds are Joshua tree seeds.
