May 6, 2020 Shoshone, California

It was 100 degrees today. I dragged myself out of bed and went out walking at 7 am when it was only in the 70's. Then I came home and went back to bed. I usually don't do early mornings.

I was rewarded by these back lit blooming palo verde trees in the city park. Back lit evening primroses along the Aqua trail.

Evening primroses and cool rock formation. Around the Amargosa river it is lush and green.

Rushes by the river and their seed head. Evening primroses and oleander blossoms. The natural warm spring pool in Shoshone. It is closed right now because of the virus. Too bad, it is so hot it would feel wonderful.

Oleanders at the RV park. Beautiful Lake Robbie next to the campground.

Spring green mesquite trees along the vole habitat trail. Arrow weed, which is a bush, flowers and a branch of the flowers. White salt heliotrope flowers.

Pussy willows, fan palm leaves and I think an aloe vera bloom.I love when the palo verde trees bloom.

City park in Shoshone with blooming palo verdes. A flowering bush in the neighbors yard.

Torien and Ruud painting. They are preparing for an art show this weekend of their work. Along with happy hour and a pot luck. My sister Judy has been painting with them daily. Sunset tonight.
The full flower moon rising behind the clouds, or a moon tree.
