May 20, 2020 Kanab, Utah

High of 75 and partly cloudy. Even a bit of rain.

We left Mesquite, Nevada this am and crossed the border into Arizona, then into Utah, back into Arizona, crossed into Utah and came to Kanab, Utah- A Western Classic.

Just east of Mesquite the high way goes through the narrow Virgin River canyon. The Virgin River through the tinted window.

We  drove south of Zion NP through some beautiful desert.

A nice field of hay just south of Kanab. We are now camped at the Grand Plateau RV resort. It is brand new. We got a nice large deluxe site with trees and a picnic table under the red rock mesa.

I worked on the masterpiece some more. I just finished the neck portion of it and am working on the brim. It is coming together nicely. It was in the high 60's when we had dinner. We put on fleece pants and coat. We are not used to these cooler temperatures.
I just missed the evening light on the view.
