Colorado, glass for upcoming show May 11, 2011

Guess I am behind on the blog. We are in Colorado. We both had  jury duty. I actually got on a jury, but then the judge called a mistrial. We also are catching up on dr and dentist appointments. I got a dental implant. In three months I can finally get a crown on it.  If we stay in one place for a month. I have been making glass for a show in Denver on Santa Fe drive.  Here is what I have made so far.

The first is desert bloom, flowers on a prickly pear, the second is a desert tortoise and the third is luster petroglyph piece.

The first is a skier doing a jump (for the theme of Wild and Crazy at the show) and the grand canyon, made from a photo I took from the Nankoweep granaries.  I am working on a rafting piece, another wild and crazy. I have another piece I started before I left and finished. I will have to dig up a photo of it.

I still have to organize the jewels for sale at the same show.
