A record of our travels in the Penguin. John's mother's nickname was the Penguin and since she made the RV happen, we named the bus after her.

May 3-4 2010 Monument Valley and Wahweap Marina, Lake Powell, Utah
The snow melted away. We went to the tribal park in Monument Valley. Saw the museum, then took the self guiding tour around the features. Very nice. We also saw Navajo horse, free range there. We took a hike around the north mitten, pictured at the left. It was 3.4 miles. The weather was warm, sunny.

We packed up and headed to Lake Powell. Parked the coach at a site right on the Lake. Did some restocking shopping and then sunbathed and went for a swim in the lake. 80 degree air, cold lake.
