February 19, 2015 St Andrew’s beach State Park, Florida

It is still cold here. It was 33 degrees again last night, up into the 40’s for a high today, down again to the 20’s tonight. There is an Canadian cold front all the way down here. I think the weather is broken, it is supposed to be warm in Florida.

Our bus in the St Andrew’s State Park campground. Behind us is the Grand Lagoon. Bev’s bus is across from us.

All of us dressed up for sunset on the beach. In Florida?? Something is wrong with this photo.

John photographing the cliff at sunset. It is white sand, but at sunset it turns pink. John took this special effect photo of Bev and I looking at shells. The big waves yesterday brought in a bunch of them.

There had been a prescribed burn somewhere today, so there was smoke in the sky. The sun turned red, which of course does not show up red in my photos.  The sun also did this weird reflection or something  and it looked like it was melting.

Sunset over the swamp in the way back to camp. Yesterday when it was 33 degrees I got up in my bathrobe and John did not have it warm in the bus, he told me to just put more clothes on. So here I am, a layer of fleece, with my bathrobe on top, gloves , socks and slippers. . . I turned the heat up.
