We have arrived at Furnace Creek Inn in Death Valley. My favorite thing about this place is this pool. It is warm spring water and the flow is high enough they don’t need  chlorine. It is heavenly.  Jill-Judy’s daughter - my niece and Gabriella  enjoying margaritas at the pool. The two women are astrophysicists who work at Harvard in Cambridge. They had a record amount of snow there this winter. Jill said recently it actually warmed up to 40 degrees a couple days.  They think it is heavenly too.

We moved happy hour into the shade, Jill, Gabriella, Sue, Laurie, Wanda and Judy. We had dinner in the Inn dining room to celebrate Judy’s birthday.
