I got a new stand for Sonoran Fire. The cactus one I bought and made this for does not look good. This one looks great. Golden grasses along the bike path last night.

I followed a rainbow home last night from my bike ride. A sunflower and bee balm flower on the bike path.

 John amused himself today hanging a drainpipe from the gutter and lifting heavy rocks in front of our gate. Just as we were leaving to see an outdoor Shakespeare it rained. I love it when it rains and the sun shines and makes the rain sparkle.

We got to walk with a rainbow ,past the Ranch Way to the bike path to the play. The light was lovely.

They performed As You Like It--a Shakespeare comedy. They started first at the Museum of Discovery, then lead us down the bike path, acting the whole way. These are deer with a musician  A biker rides by wondering what is going on.

The play continued river side. The Duchess I think at the wedding of the lovers. It was a fabulous play. Then they lead us back to the museum for cookies. We walked home through town afterwards.

For my birthday John got me a new faucet for the sink! What a man. We went to see another Shakespeare, Midsummer's Night Dream. We didn't know till we got there that most of the actors were Jr. High students. The acoustics at the venue were really bad so we could not hear a lot of it. Fortunately this is my favorite and I have it memorized. It was cute. The girl in the inset was Puck and she did really well.

Then we went to the Chocolate Cafe for chocolate cake and a chocolate martini for my birthday. I finished this piece of glass called "Walking into the light'. It is a photograph I took of John that I sandblasted onto a piece of glass.

I also made this one of a photo of John doing his pirate imitation-Arg- but it did not come out well. The wierdest part was the bubble on his eye that is not in the right place for the pupil, so it makes him looking two directions. I will need to work on that one again next year. The 6 others you see here are my entries for the glass show this fall.

I was trying to get a charge card reader for my amazon tablet, but I guess they don't make one that works with amazon products so I broke down and got a smart phone Now I just need to learn how to use it! I also did this photo of John and I for the show, it came out much better.
