The Hole in the Wall. It is a gift shop and house carved into the rock here. We parked last night at Westwater on the Colorado River. We were boondocking, so no power for AC. It did cool off at night so we could sleep tho.
Evening light over the Colorado River. We were camped right across the street from a sheep farm. Lots of little lambs. The were all baaaing at the same time the whole day.
There is a hydraulic fluid leak and the front slide keeps creeping out as we drive. It has gotten so bad that John is afraid it will come all the way out while we are driving on the high. Turns out there is an eye bolt under the sink and a winch that came with the bus that attaches to the table brace to pull the slide in if it gets stuck out. It is not broken enough, so it still tries to slide out a little bit, even winched in. We are hoping to get the bus in tomorrow to have it worked on. Welcome to Colorado through the bugs on the windshield.
We are now parked at the Junction West RV park in Grand Junction. Nice for a commercial park. Sunset tonight.
Finished this basket today. It is made with seeds my friend Toni found on the beach in Florida. It is 6 x 3 inches.
Started this one today. I fused the piece of glass in the middle. Well the RV places in Grand Junction do not fix hydraulic leaks, but John tried the truck place across the street from the RV park and they got us right in and fixed the problem. We now have working slides, that don't creep out while driving.
Martha and Chili dog walking along the river. Jimjim, Martha, John, Carla and Jeff along the river.
Lady slipper orchid, wand lily, spirea, golden banner, purple flower and lilacs. The bus in front of Martha and Jimjim's house in Carbondale, Co.
Jimjim and Martha having dinner at the mexican restaurant with us. Glad we were able to catch up with them in their busy schedule. Great to see them. Sunset over Sopris mountain-still covered with snow.
