This is hard to read, but at 557 pm it was 100 degrees. It says, it will be warmer tomorrow. The forecast says excessive heat warning. Fri 102, Sat 102, Sun 99. Tues and Weds it dips into the 80's. Way to hot for me, Don't know how much longer I want to stay here. Tecopa bomber is a 1- 1 1/4 inch biting horse fly. They are wicked and fast. This one was on John's shirt on the line.
Sunset tonight over the historic garage. It was 101 on Friday. 103 on Sat. It is only getting down into the high 80's in the bus with ac. We are going to move on Monday to the RV park here. It has lots of shade, which we don't have here. And grass and a stream and lake. Hopefully that will help. We are planning at this point to move north as soon as travel restrictions ease. It is looking like a week or two.
Judy D finished her second basket. She now knows all the stitches that I do. It has an arrow head in the center and is about 12 inches in diameter. She has learned all this much, much faster than I did. Yesterday we drove up to the mountains to be cooler. This is a Shamans cave. The ancient Paiute Indians used it. There are pictographs inside.

The flowering creosote bushes outside the cave. Small purple flowers, trailing 4 o'clock, phacelia, desert tobacco flowers.
Mallow and 4 o'clocks, bush 4 o' clocks, Scarlet pensteman with cactus. We traveled in 3 jeeps. Even at the higher altitude is was still in the 80's and very hot.
We hiked up Rainbow spring in the pinon pines and juniper trees. John Judy and Lorraine photographing a flowering bush. Scarlet penstemens, gillia flower, and the flowering bush. We thought it might be cliffrose it smelled so nice, but it has the wrong kind of leaves.
