August 30- September 3, 2022 Fort Collins, Colorado

Still in the 90's with not much rain.

Cattails at McMurry pond on my bike ride. Sunset over McMurry pond.

I have 3 beaded pendants. I am going to redo the light blue one, I used bigger flashier beads and you don't notice the glass. I am getting better, they are only taking around 3 hours to bead now. It was 7 in the class I took. I finished the luster Nautilus. It came out excellent. It is 10 inches in diameter.

Had another nice visit at the CSU Trial gardens. Beautiful place. Dinner tonight was bruschetta Pomodoro with fresh basil and tomatoes from the garden and fresh peach and goat cheese crostini with basil..

Sunset from the deck during dinner. I made this beveled polished dichroic glass  crescent tonight. It is about 1  1/2 inches long

Working on these pieces now. Rain coming in with sunset.

Rainy sunset. Mammatus clouds at the end of sunset.

Tour de Fat is a big celebration at New Belgium Brewery. It starts out with a 2 hour bike parade. Here are few of the costumes. Flamingo lady, jelly fish.

More costumes from Tour De Fat. Lots of bubble machines, UFO and an alien, Pirate ship with a bike with a treasure chest on the front following., bike powered VW van, a guy on a huge wheel chair looking vehicle, the yellow submarine with a roller blading dinosaur. couple guys peddling the Fruit Smash can, and a T-rex.

Two magic carpet riders, a rider on a tall bike, license plate- 2022 TDF, and the Wizard of Oz crew- the scarecrow, the tin woman and the wicked witch of the west. Another pirate ship, woman riding in a chariot, another tall bike and a woman about to fall out of her costume.

Beveled, polished dichroic glass crescents. They are about 1 1/2 inch long. I rode my bike by the New Belgium brewery at dusk and it was still packed and there were 2 bands playing for Tour de Fat.

4 deer on the bike path tonight.
