Sept1-8, 2023 Fort Collins, Colorado

Temps in the 80's, fall is coming.

Sunset. Free concerts on Thursday evenings in Old Town Fort Collins.

Went to Denver for my Dr appointments. And of course stopped at the whole sale stained glass store, D and L Art Glass to pick up supplies. This is one of four rows in the front of the warehouse. Like a candy store to me.

Dinner on the deck at sunset. We watched some break dancing on stage in Old Town the other night. Sunset.

I have been busy making these basket centers. Lots of good basket ideas. There is wild fire smoke in the sunset now. Pretty sunset, bad air.

I went hiking with Katy and Rosie in the mountains.

Rosie, Suep and Katy. Yes we had a good time!

The red leaves on the fireweed look great with the blue bird sky. A stream coming down the mountain.

Nearing tree line. Chiming bells, aster, cinquefoil, paint brush, blue gentian and fireweed.

Black mountain lodge. We ate our lunch at one of the picnic tables. They were setting up for a wedding in the lodge.  The lodge has views through the huge windows of the mountains all around. A stream in the meadow by the lodge.

At tree line. Yarrow, stone crop, yellow daisies, artic gentian-the last flower to bloom in the alpine before the snow flies, different yellow sunflowers, red paintbrush.

Loveland pass from Arapahoe Basin ski area. Beautiful place. Fireweed, cinquefoil, a sign for the Via Ferrata- it is a route up a cliff face with rebar steps, ladders, cables etc. You have to hire a guide to do this one here. Marmot.

Bye bye little brother into the mountains he loved to hike in. The bus is in front of the house. We have been packing it and we are leaving tomorrow!!
