High of 59 and sunny.
A field of white meadow foam on our walk. They use the oil from it in cosmetics, moisturizers etc. Sunset.
We are now at Oregon Motor Coach to get maintenance done on the bus. We are the one way in the back, facing forward on the left. The place is VERY busy. Another masterpiece finished. It is made from dyed pine needles, polyester thread, glass, gem stone, metal, wooden and bone beads. The center is slate that I sandblasted and painted petroglyphs on. It is 8 1/4 x 7 1/2 x 2 inches. I only had one of the large bone bead and wanted to use it, so the basket has an unique shape.
John cooked Scott, Leslie and I a wonderful shrimp dinner. Nice to see them. Sunset.
Sunset with the waxing crescent moon and Jupiter. The bus spent the day in the shop. It is now parked in front of the bay for more work tomorrow. The large living room/kitchen slide had the wood trim removed from over the cupboards exposing the slide mechanism. The top part of the slide has been creeping in, so they are working on it. They also fixed the electric water heater, some lights and a drawer that was stuck shut and probably more.
We saw this kestrel, scrub jay and PBY out walking today. The PBY is a WWII float plane. I made yummy taco salad and we ate on the deck here.
The moon with Jupiter above and Venus below. The slide with the top tipped in. They are working on fixing that.
Another masterpiece. It is made from dyed pine needles, polyester thread and glass beads. The needles are a really dark purple and only look purple in bright sunlight, more like black inside. The needle caps were brighter purple, so I left them on. It is 6 x 4 inches. We went to Scott and Leslie's house and did laundry. John and Scott are sitting on the patio behind all the cool flowers.
The bus inside the shop, being worked on. Still here at Oregon Motor Coach Center.
Sunset. The bus is up on the lift for maintenance work.
Finished this basket today. It is made from dyed pine needles, polyester thread, glass beads and the center is glass that I fused. It is 11 x 2 inches. I started it Tues afternoon and finished this afternoon, Sitting around waiting for the bus gives me lots of time.
