Delaware, Maryland and Virginia all share the Delmarva peninsula, the other side of the Chesapeake bay from the part of Maryland that has DC. We moved down the peninsula to Maryland and Assateague Island.
Assateague Island National Seashore. It is a very thin island that is really long. It has wild horses and teague deer and is all a park.
The bus in the campground. The beach.
It was 71 degrees, so what the heck, perhaps I can get some of my tan back. There were lots of surfers and fishermen.
The campground is on the beach, it is to the left of this photo. A tiny crab, about an inch wide, seed pods on a bush, a pink flower, butterflies mating on a goldenrod.
The ocean, the bus at the campground.
The basket is almost done. I am going to add a couple bead, shellac it and make a lid. It is 6 inches by 9. Ihad to add a faux strip of birch bark on the top to bring it all together.
Cool clouds on the beach. A sun dog.
sunset.
